Mary Rose Tudor Warship

The MARY ROSE

King Henry VIII's Tudor warship, built in  1512 and sunk during a battle in 1545.

The wreck was re-discovered in 1971, and recovered from the sea bed in 1982

She is now on display in a purpose built museum in Portsmouth.
